These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of KaliRange (the "Service"), a product of KometX AI Applications & Services ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You may use the Service if you are at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country). If you are younger, you may use it only with the permission of a parent or guardian, or as part of a class or programme run by a school or educational organisation that has authorised its use. By using the Service, you confirm that one of these applies to you and that you will comply with all applicable laws.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.
- You may not share your account or impersonate anyone else.
3. Educational purpose & licence
KaliRange provides hands-on cybersecurity education. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the content and labs for your own lawful learning. The techniques taught are powerful and must only be used as permitted by our Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Acceptable use
Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: the skills and tools provided are for authorised, ethical and legal use only. You must never use them to access, attack or interfere with any system you do not own or do not have explicit written permission to test. Violations may result in immediate termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Service — labs, workbooks, notes, text, graphics, logos and software — is owned by KaliRange or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written permission, except for your own personal study or for non-commercial classroom teaching (for example, a teacher using labs and workbooks with their students), provided KaliRange is credited.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the notes, feedback and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a licence to store and process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and must not submit anything unlawful or infringing.
7. Third-party tools and downloads
The Service may offer software (such as the Skirmisher desktop application) and links to third-party resources. These are provided "as is"; your use of them is at your own risk and may be subject to separate terms.
8. Availability
Labs and workbooks are free. AI Range course books are paid, except the first book of each series, which is free. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time without liability, except that we will honour paid access you have already bought or refund it pro rata.
Purchases and subscriptions. One series of AI Range books costs US$10 as a one-time payment and gives you access to that series for as long as the Service runs. KaliRange Pro costs US$12 per month or US$120 per year and gives access to all AI Range books while it is active. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time with the Cancel subscription button on your account page. We ask why you are leaving, but you can choose Prefer not to say and your answer never affects your cancellation. You will not be charged again, access continues until the end of the period you paid for, and you get a reference number to keep. You can turn your subscription back on before that date. If your last payment failed, cancelling takes effect at once and we stop trying to charge your card. Cancelling does not delete your account, and series you bought stay yours. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices exclude any taxes that may apply. If something you bought is not what we described, or you were charged in error, ask for a refund within 14 days by ticking the refund box when you cancel or by emailing support@kalirange.com; a refund ends access to what was refunded. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under the law of your country.
9. Disclaimers
The Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. The content is for educational purposes only and is not professional, security or legal advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KaliRange and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or opportunity, or for any loss arising from your use or misuse of the Service, the content, or any technique learned. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100). Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KaliRange and its founder from any claim, loss or expense arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Before bringing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@kalirange.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally. If it cannot be resolved, the courts of Dubai, UAE shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post changes here and update the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Export controls & sanctions
The Service and any software it provides (including security tools such as Skirmisher) may be subject to export-control and sanctions laws. By using the Service you represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country or on any list subject to applicable embargoes or sanctions, and that you will not use, export or re-export the Service or any tool in violation of such laws.
16. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use them for any purpose without obligation or compensation to you.
17. Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@kalirange.com with a description of the work, its location on the Service, your contact details, and a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised. We will review and remove infringing material where appropriate.
18. General
These Terms, together with the Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor or affiliate. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
